A discussion is not a lending decision
BBS Automotive Group, Inc., operating as Carriage House Motor Cars, can discuss financing or leasing questions in the context of a vehicle you are considering and help identify information that may need to be reviewed. That discussion does not commit the dealership or any financing source to lend or lease. It does not reserve a vehicle, establish a rate, set a payment, or guarantee approval, eligibility, delivery, or a particular down payment.
Any credit decision must be made by the applicable lender or leasing source after its own review. A lender may approve, decline, or condition a request, and may offer terms that differ from a customer’s expectations. Vehicle eligibility, requested amount, down payment, trade value or payoff, credit history, income, debt obligations, verification requirements, applicable law, and other factors can affect the result. These factors are case-specific and can change before documents are signed.
Review the complete cost, not only the payment
A monthly payment by itself does not describe the full cost of borrowing or leasing. Before accepting an offer, ask for the written disclosures that apply to the specific transaction and review the annual percentage rate or lease equivalent information, finance charge or rent charge, amount financed or capitalized cost, total of payments, term, down payment, taxes, title and registration charges, lender or dealer fees, trade-in balance, optional products, mileage or use limits, end-of-term obligations, and any other amount you may owe.
For a lease, ask how the payment was calculated, which charges are due at signing, the mileage allowance, excess-mileage or wear provisions, early termination consequences, purchase-option terms, and what happens at the end of the lease. For a loan, compare the total repayment amount and timing of payments with the vehicle’s negotiated price and other transaction costs. Do not treat an informal estimate as a final offer, and do not make an affordability decision from a payment illustration alone.
Written terms and independent review
Only complete written documents issued for the specific transaction can establish the final terms. Read every agreement before signing and ask who the creditor or leasing source is, whether the rate is fixed or subject to another condition, whether any payment is deferred, and which charges are optional. You may wish to compare offers independently or consult a qualified financial, legal, or tax professional. This page is general information, not consumer-specific financial, legal, tax, or credit advice.
Do not assume that a statement such as “pre-qualified,” “pre-approved,” or “low payment” means a firm offer. No such statement on this website should be understood as a pre-screened offer or a commitment to provide credit unless a separate, secure process and complete written disclosures expressly say otherwise.
Keep sensitive information out of general inquiries
For a general question, contact the dealership without sending a Social Security number, government-identification image, bank-login credentials, payment-card information, account passwords, or other highly sensitive financial data by ordinary email or a general inquiry channel. If a formal application is appropriate, ask how it will be submitted and review the notices and authorizations provided through the applicable secure process. Supplying information does not guarantee that a request will be processed or approved.
