Terms of use.

The conditions governing access to and use of the BBS AUTOMOTIVE GROUP website.

Draft for attorney review before publication. These terms are a substantive working draft based on the supplied business information and current HTML preview. Counsel should review them against actual licensing, sales, financing, warranty, fee, and dispute-resolution practices.

Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to this website operated for BBS Automotive Group, Inc., doing business as Carriage House Motor Cars (“BBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

2. Website purpose

The website provides general dealership, inventory, financing, trade-in, service, location, and contact information. It supports inquiries and appointments but does not, by itself, complete a vehicle sale, purchase, trade, financing transaction, lease, warranty, service contract, or binding reservation.

3. Demonstration status

The current website preview uses clearly labeled demonstration inventory and frontend-only forms. Demonstration vehicles, prices, mileage, stock numbers, VIN placeholders, payment estimates, badges, descriptions, photographs, and features do not represent current inventory or offers. Before public launch, every such item must be replaced or verified against current dealership records.

4. Inventory, availability, and errors

Vehicle inventory and availability may change without notice. A website inquiry, saved vehicle, submitted form, appointment request, or displayed listing does not reserve a vehicle. Descriptions, equipment, color, mileage, condition, photographs, and other information should be independently confirmed with the dealership and, where appropriate, the manufacturer, vehicle, history report, and transaction documents. We may correct typographical, photographic, pricing, technical, or data errors.

5. Pricing and charges

Unless a current advertisement clearly states otherwise, displayed prices do not include government taxes, title, registration, or other lawful government charges. The production dealership must ensure that any advertised cash price includes all mandatory dealer-imposed charges required by applicable law and clearly disclose any permitted exclusions, qualifications, incentives, or conditional discounts. Contact the dealership for the current total price before relying on a listing.

6. Financing

Financing information and calculators are educational and illustrative. They are not commitments to lend, credit decisions, quoted annual percentage rates, or final repayment terms. Approval, amount financed, down payment, annual percentage rate, term, payment schedule, fees, and conditions depend on an application, lender criteria, applicable law, and final signed documents. See the Financing Disclaimer.

7. Trade-in and direct-purchase requests

Any online estimate, range, or discussion is preliminary and non-binding. Final value or an offer depends on physical inspection, title and lien verification, ownership documentation, mileage, condition, history, equipment, market conditions, and a written agreement accepted by the dealership and vehicle owner.

8. Deposits and appointments

A requested appointment or test drive is not confirmed until the dealership accepts it. No website action authorizes a deposit. If a deposit is later accepted, the written contract or purchase agreement must state whether the deposit is refundable or non-refundable as required by applicable Connecticut guidance.[1] The signed transaction document controls.

9. Warranties, service contracts, and vehicle condition

No warranty, guarantee, certification, inspection standard, protection product, or service contract is created by general website language. For a used vehicle, review the vehicle-specific FTC Buyers Guide, any separate written warranty or service-contract documents, and the final sales contract. Warranty status may differ by vehicle and may include an applicable written warranty, remaining manufacturer coverage, state-law protection, optional coverage, or an as-is sale where lawful. See the Vehicle Advertising & Sales Disclosure.

10. Acceptable use

You may use the website only for lawful personal or business inquiry purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or availability; scrape the website at an unreasonable rate; introduce malware; misrepresent your identity; submit information about another person or vehicle without authorization; or use website content to violate law or third-party rights.

11. Intellectual property

Website design, code, copy, graphics, logos, and original materials are owned by or licensed to BBS unless otherwise indicated. Vehicle and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit website materials without applicable permission, except for ordinary personal browsing and recordkeeping.

12. Third-party services

Links to mapping, vehicle-history, recall, financing, social, or other third-party services are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. Access is at your discretion and subject to the third party’s terms.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBS and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use. Any limitation is subject to non-waivable consumer-protection rights and does not govern liability established in a separately signed vehicle, financing, warranty, or service agreement.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory venue or consumer right provided by applicable law remains unaffected.

16. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
